OAKTON, VA/WEBSTER - Stasia B. (Springer) Zlotnick, 92, of Oakton, VA, formerly of 25 Cutler Street, Webster, died Saturday, March 7, at her home after an illness. Her husband of 49 years, Michael M. Zlotnick, died in 1986.
She leaves a son, Michael B. Zlotnick and his wife Janet E. of Wilmington, DE; 2 grandchildren, Joel A. and Marta G. Zlotnick; 2 great grandchildren, Kyle A. and Hunter A. Zlotnick; nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sisters Hedwiga “Harriet” Laramie and Mary Cynar and by her brother Eddie Springer.
She was born in Dudley, the daughter of Joseph and Catherine (Cieslewicz) Springer. She lived in Webster before moving to Wisconsin. She later lived in Delaware before moving to Oakton.
Mrs. Zlotnick worked as a mender at Anglo Fabrics Company in Webster for 25 years before she retired in 1981.
She was a former member of St. Louis Church in Webster and was active in the Saint Louis League of Catholic Women. She later belonged to Immaculate Conception Church in Altoona, WI.
The funeral will be held Saturday, March 14, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., Webster, with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in Mount Zion Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, March 13, in the funeral home.
