Diana L. Joyce 58, of 87 Manville Rd. died Saturday in Landmark Medical Center. She was born in Bronx, NY a daughter of the late Jerry and Vivian (Dacon) Volpe. Ms. Joyce was a nursing assistant at The Holiday Nursing Home in Manville for many years before retiring last year due to illness. Though she was a Woonsocket resident for the last several years, she grew up in Portland, ME. She enjoyed music and dancing, and caring for the elderly, but above all, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends. She is survived by two sons; Kevin Barrett of South Portland, ME, Kristian Barrett of Windham, ME, one daughter Heather Dow of Litchfield ME, eight grandchildren, and one sister Betty McCloud of Woonsocket, with whom she lived. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home and are private.
