Miss Paula M. Zingarelli, age 53 of Boston, formerly of Somerville, died unexpectedly on Saturday at her home.
Miss Zingarelli was born in Somerville, the daughter of the late Anthony and Calogera (Marino) Zingarelli. She was raised in Somerville and is a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Cambridge, class of 1973. She worked as a Surgical Assistant at the Mass. General Hospital in Boston for over 25 years. She retired in 2000. Paula was an avid sports fan and an animal lover. She had a beloved cat “Kojak”.
She is survived by two sisters: Ann Zingarelli and Barbara Zingarelli both of Somerville and a brother: Anthony Zingarelli and his wife Karen of Haverhill. Also survived by 2 nieces, Karen Boisselle and Deanna Zingarelli, 2 grand nieces Kathryn Boisselle and Sarah Boisselle. Friends may call Thursday from 3 thru 7 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. A funeral mass will be celebrated in St. Ann Church, 399 Medford Street, Somerville, Friday at 10:00 am. Services will conclude with burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
