Martinez-Mr. Robert F. Erickson,56, beloved husband of Susan, entered into rest on Tuesday, March 3, 2009 at Trinity Hospital.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, March 9, 2009 at 6:00 PM at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Pastor Chuck Gordon officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday evening after the service until 8:00 PM.
Bob was born on January 13, 1953 at Eau Claire, Wisconsin the son of Romaine and Dona Erickson. He graduated from University of Wisconsin Stout with his Masters degree in 1984 where he met his wife Susan. Bob was united in marriage to Susan Danielson on February 25, 1984. He was a United States Army veteran and worked at the V.A. hospital for 25 years. He was a devoted dad to his children and a wonderful husband to Susan. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and helping his wife show their Great Danes in AKC dog shows.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Matthew Erickson and Melissa Erickson, his two brothers, Danny Erickson and wife, Cindy, and Jim Erickson. He was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, Ronnie Erickson.
