Claire M. (Fisher) Quintin, 79, of Rehoboth formerly of Attleboro, died on Saturday March 7, 2009 at the Golden Living Center Ridgewood Court Nursing Home in Attleboro. She was the beloved wife of the late Wilfred G. “Jerry” Quintin who passed away on April 26, 1989.
Born in Attleboro, MA on June 10, 1929 she was a loving daughter of the late Joseph E. Fisher and Amanda M. (Labonte) Henry.
She grew up and was educated in Attleboro and was a graduate of Attleboro High School. Claire was a retired secretary having worked for the law firm of McIntyre & McIntyre in Attleboro for 5 years prior to retiring in 1998. Along with her late husband Jerry she helped in the operation of there hardware store, the former Fullers Hardware Store in Mansfield which they owned together for 30 years.
A communicant of St. Mary’s Church in Norton, Claire enjoyed her retirement years at her home in Rehoboth and spending time with her daughter, granddaughters, and especially her young twin great grandchildren. She had made her home in Rehoboth for the past 51 years and was a former native of Attleboro.
She is survived by her devoted daughter Robyn Q. Franczyk and her husband Stan of Rehoboth. She was the cherished grandmother of Tyla Brie Gooch and her husband Jason of Berkley and Brad Quintin Staples of Dighton. She was the adoring great grandmother of Cadence Gooch and Colten Gooch both of Berkley.
Services will be held at the convenience of her family at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne. Visiting hours have been omitted.
