William F. Elliott, 86, Clarksville, died Friday, March 6, 2009, at his residence. The funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Mike Madewell officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service Sunday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. He was born April 27, 1922 in Indian Mound, TN, son of the late Bruce F. Elliott and Maude K. Milliken Elliott. He was preceded in death by his spouse Huntas Elliott. Mr. Elliott was a retired civil service employee and was a veteran of the US Army and served during WWII. He attended Little Hope Baptist Church.
