WORCESTER-Mary C. (Kelleher) Dorsey, 86, formerly of Coes Pond Village died Friday, March 6th surrounded by her loving family. Her husband of 43 years, Earl L. Dorsey died in 1995. She leaves five children; Anne E. West and her husband James of Worcester, Mark J. Dorsey and his wife Aldea “Dee” of Barre, Kathleen M. Grecho and John Wakefield of Worcester, Brian E. Dorsey and his wife Nancy of Millbury, and Kevin F. Dorsey and his wife Wendy of Worcester; a sister, Kathleen Balcom of Worcester; ten grandchildren, including Mary-Catherine Hamelin, who gave her grandmother loving care every day; nine great grandchildren; and nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a brother and two sisters, John Kelleher, Jane Hartnett and Anne Seal.
She was born in Worcester, the daughter of Daniel H. and Mary V. (Lynch) Kelleher and graduated from South High School. Mrs. Dorsey was employed by the Worcester Public Schools Cafeteria System. She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Church and its Women’s Guild. Mary’s family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of the Millbury Health Care Center for the wonderful care they provided during her stay there.
The funeral is Monday, March 9th from O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue, with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. in St. Andrew the Apostle Church, 5 Spaulding Street. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling hours are Sunday, March 8th from 2:00 until 4:00 P.M. in the funeral home.
