Obituary

Ago, Alice L. (Dede), 84, passed away after a long illness on March 4, 2009. A life long resident of Mission Hill. Beloved mother of Joanne M. Ago and her husband Donald Kuehl of Windham, NH and the late Lois Ago. Loving grandmother of Brian and Christine Kuehl of Windham, NH. Loving sister of Helen Moreau of Plymouth, MA, Nancy J. Ago of Annapolis, MD, and the late Mary Hoban and her late husband Francis Hoban, Rose Moran and her late husband John Moran. She leaves many nieces and nephews and will be greatly missed.
She attended Our Lady of Perpetual Help Schools, Mission Grammar and Mission High School, graduating class of 1942. She continued her education later in life and graduated from Boston Business School in 1976. She worked for the New England Telephone Co. for many years and in 1957 became a homemaker, devoting her time to raising her family. A long time member of the Roxbury Tenants of Harvard, she saw the Brigham Circle area change and develop, becoming one of the earliest residents of Mission Park in 1978. She enjoyed her family, visits with her friends, playing bingo in the neighborhoods, and always within sight of the twin spires of Mission Church.
Funeral from the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home 1803 Centre St. WEST ROXBURY on Monday March 9, at 10:00 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the Mission Church at 11:00 AM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visiting hours Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.
Interment Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
