Emily “Gina” Vaughn, 28, of Ravenel, wife of Chris Vaughn, died Monday, March 2, 2009 at Trident Medical Center.
Funeral service will be held Friday, March 6, 2009 at 1 o’clock at Christ St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, Hollywood. Burial will be private.
Friends may call at James A. Dyal Funeral Home, Summerville from 6 until 8 o’clock Thursday evening.

Gina was born September 19, 1980 in Charleston, SC to Joseph Wayne Chaplin and Alice Ann Schurlknight Chaplin of Ravenel. She graduated from Country Day High School in Hollywood and attended Trident Technical College. She was a member of Christ St. Paul’s Episcopal Church and a service advisor with Ravenel Ford. Gina will always be remembered for her love for her girls and for all animals.
Survivors including her husband and parents are:
2 Daughters: Payton Elizabeth Vaughn and Rebecca Ryan Vaughn both of Ravenel.
2 Sisters: Stacy Chaplin (Will) of Yonges Island and Holly C. Fleming (Aaron) of Walterboro.
Brother: Joseph Chaplin, Jr. of Ravenel.
Grandparents: Emily Chaplin and the late Joe Chaplin of James Island, Bobbie Mouse of Charleston and the late Jack Schurlknight.
Brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws: Jason and Roxanne Vaughn of
Hanahan and Wesley and Erin Vaughn of Warner Robins, GA.
