Lawrence, MA- Eileen P. O’Connell, 94, died Tuesday, February 24, 2009 at the Prescott House Nursing Home in North Andover.
Born and raised in Lawrence, Eileen was the daughter of the late John and Nellie (Fitzgerald). She attended St. Mary’s High School and for over 20 years worked as the chief clerk at the assessor’s office for the City of Lawrence.
Eileen loved to travel, especially to Ireland.
Eileen is survived by her siblings, Anita Driscoll of Methuen, William W. of North Andover, Francis X. and his wife Claire of Methuen, and Vincent P. and his wife Caryl of Methuen, as well as a sister-in law, Louise O’Connell of Lawrence. She will also be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.
She was pre-deceased by siblings, Daniel V., Mary E., Dennis J., Maurice J., Joseph D., James K., and John T. O’Connell.
The Family would also like to thank the entire staff of the Prescott House for their care and support for Eileen during the past year.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and friends may pay their respects, TODAY, Friday, February 27th from 4-8 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. A mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday morning, February 28th, at 9 AM at St. Monica’s Church.
