Connie Craft Evers, 55, of Warwick, Georgia, died Wednesday, February 25, 2009, at Sylvester Health Care in Sylvester.
Funeral services will be held 4 P.M. Saturday, February 28 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel in Fitzgerald with the Rev. Chuck Taylor and the Rev. Edward Walker officiating. Interment will follow in Frank Primitive Baptist Church, Irwin County. The family will receive friends from 7-9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mrs. Evers was born March 2, 1953 in Wilcox County to the late Andrew Jackson and Sarah Whitley Craft. She lived in Warwick for the past several years from Turner County. Ms. Evers was a former employee of Coats & Clark. She was a member of the Ashburn Church of God.
She is survived by her sons & daughter-in-law, John & Mina Prophitt of Warwick and Andrew Earl Evers of Irwinville; grandchildren, John Alexander Prophitt and Madison Kay Prophitt of Warwick and Emily Ann Evers and Zoey Michelle Evers of Irwinville; brothers, Allen Craft of Cordele, Jimmy Craft and Jerry Craft of Sycamore and Keith Craft of Cordele as well as several nieces and nephews.
