Oradell Lasseter Tucker, 90, of Tifton died Tuesday, February 24, 2009, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February, 26, 2009, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Rev. Edsel Young will officiate with burial to follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery. Gerald Mallard, Daniel Mallard, Josh Mallard, Travis Lasseter, Wesley Lasseter and Roger Lasseter will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2009, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals.
Mrs. Tucker was born on September 29, 1918 in Cook County and was the daughter of Rayford B. Lasster and Eunie Melissi Easters Lasseter, both deceased. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Tucker; four sisters, Donamae Walker, Eunie Mae Bromlow, Manona Hollis and Gladys Lasseter; and two brothers, Shine Lasseter and Norman Lasseter. She was a homemaker and of the Holiness Baptist faith.
Mrs. Tucker is survived by two brothers, Bobby Lasseter of Tifton and Coy Lasseter of Tifton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
