Madeleine Y. Poulin, age 63 of Londonderry, NH, passed away on Friday, February 20, 2009 at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center, Nashua, NH. Ms. Poulin was born in Coaticook, Quebec on April 19, 1945, a daughter of the late Dominique and Simone (Girard) Poulin.
Madeleine first and foremost loved her family and enjoyed cooking for them. She enjoyed decorating and being involved in construction and well as sewing. Madeleine always loved to read as she felt that she was always learning, she had great faith and love for God.
Surviving include one son, Eric Giroux of Nashua, two daughters, Josee Giroux of Montreal, Canada, and Sonia Beaton of Derry as well as four grandchildren, Dakota-Lee, Monelle, Alonie and Celima. Also, surviving are one brother, Maurice Poulin and six sisters, Jeannine, Lorraine, Nicole, Diane, Monique, and Colette. In addition to her parents she was predeceased by her former husband, Guy H. Giroux and one brother, Gilles and one sister, Francoise.
Calling hours were held on Saturday, February 28, 2009 from 9-11:30 am at Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Road, Londonderry, NH with a memorial service that followed at Londonderry United Methodist Church, 258 Mammoth Road, Londonderry at 12:00 pm. A reception and a time of sharing followed in the fellowship hall.
