ELLIS, Rose Marie 79 of Carver formally of Plymouth passed away on Saturday February 21st at home. Rose was the wife of the late Everett Ellis Jr. She was the devoted mother of Edward Ellis of Carver, William Ellis and his wife Patricia of Plymouth, Allan Ellis of Middleboro, Francis Ellis and his wife Beth of Wareham, Richard Ellis and his wife Terri of Plymouth and the late Arthur “Punkin” Ellis. Mrs. Ellis also leaves behind her brother Manuel Silva of Florida. She was the proud grandmother of 18 grandchildren, a loving great grandmother to 8 great grandchildren as well as a loving great great grandmother to one great great grandchild. Rose was born in Kingston, MA on June 5, 1929 to her mother the late Mary Mazzilli. She graduated high school in 1947 from Mary Immaculate High School in Providence, RI. She went on to be the owner of her very own green house and enjoyed gardening and heading to the flea markets. Friends are welcome to Visiting Hours on Wednesday February 25th from 6pm-8pm at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St in Plymouth. There will be a Funeral Service on February 26th at 10am at the Faith Baptist Church, 190 Center St in Carver. Interment will follow the Funeral Service in Vine Hills Cemetery in Plymouth.
