Obituary

WORCESTER-Henry Kozich, 80, of Worcester, died Friday, May 30th at home after a short illness. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Harriet (Papadinis) Kozich; a son, Gregory H. Kozich of Sudbury; a daughter, Katherine L. Kozich of Worcester; a sister, Olga Kozich of Auburn; 3 grandchildren.

He was born in Worcester the son of Simon and Katherine (Tymosko) Kozich and lived here all of his life. He graduated from Commerce High School in 1942 and obtained an associate degree in accounting from Becker College. He was a WWII Army veteran. Mr. Kozich worked as a state examiner for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 30 years retiring in 1986.

The funeral will be Monday, June 2nd from O’Connor Brothers Funeral Home, 592 Park Avenue with a mass at 10:30 AM in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours will be Sunday, June 1st from 3:00 until 6:00 PM in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Disabled American Veterans, John F. Kennedy Building, Room 1575B, Boston, Massachusetts, 02203 or American Lung Association of Massachusetts, 1 Abbey Lane, Middleboro, Massachusetts, 02346.
