Roland G. Nadeau, age 78 of Riverview Towers, Fall River passed away February 20, 2009 at Charlton Memorial Hospital after a brief illness. Roland was the son of the late Clarence & Eva (Nadeau) Crapo. He was married for 51 years to (Laura Joaquim) Nadeau. Prior to retiring, Roland worked for the Converse Rubber Co. for 30 years. He was a parishioner of St. Patrick, Somerset, & a member of the Exhausted Rooster in the Jay Cee’s of RI.
Besides his wife, he is survived by their daughter Sandra (Bob) Parnell of Georgia; 2 grandchildren: Courtney Bibb & Michael Parnell of Georgia; 2 great granddaughters of Georgia; a brother: Henry E. Crapo of Spokane, WA. & many nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by brother John W. Crapo.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St. MONDAY with Visitation form 9:30-10:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Patrick Church, Somerset at 11:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery, Fall River. There are no other calling hours.
