ROSS, Christopher Francis Of Natick and Newtonville, Feb. 9, 2009. Beloved life companion of Maureen Whalen Balboni of Newtonville and her daughter Jessica Brett Balboni of Manhattan, NY. Son of James and Theresa (Henning) Ross of Melville, NY. Brother of Kathleen Kleinman and her husband Dr. Lawrence of East Norwich, NY, Kevin Ross and his companion Patricia LaValle of Bellport, NY, Carol Cress of Islip, NY, Marianne McCarthy of Wayne, NJ, Brian Ross and his wife Fran of Greenlawn, NY, Jamie Ross and her husband Khalil Wahab of Scarsdale, NY. Mr. Ross attended Berklee School of Music, Hofstra University and later managed Bayshore Long Island music store where he taught many students. Founder and President of Chris Ross & Associates, a manufacturers representative firm specializing in audio/visual equipment, musical instruments & contracting to the broadcast markets. Mr. Ross was a member of NAMM, National Association of Musical Merchants and the recipient of many local and national awards in that organization. Mr. Ross was an avid sportsman, lover of the arts and a strong advocate for a number of charitable organizations. A Memorial Service will be held in the spring.
