Harriet L. Farnham 82 of East Bridgewater died Friday February 13, 2009. She was the widow of the late Richard A. Farnham and Charles J. Morrissey.
Born April 12, 1926 in Malden, Massachusetts, a daughter of the late Augustine and Flora (Nickerson) Grover, she grew up in the Greenwood section of Wakefield, Massachusetts and attended Wakefield schools.
Mrs. Farnham was retired from the Mueller Corporation in East Bridgewater. In her retirement she enjoyed reading, watching sports on TV, especially golf, caring for her many beautiful house plants and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Farnham is survived by three sons, Charles and his wife Theresa of East Bridgewater, Robert and his wife Shirley of Alliance, Ohio and Daniel and his wife Marguerite of Carver, two daughters-in-law, Joyce Farnham of Holderness, New Hampshire and Joanne Farnham of Quincy. Twelve grandchildren, Steven Farnham of Attleboro, Scott Farnham of Mansfield, Linda Smith of Plymouth, Elizabeth Herbert of East Bridgewater, Robert Farnham of Taunton, Richard Farnham of Bridgewater, Kevin Farnham of Quincy, Sarah, Daniel and Katie Farnham of Alliance, Ohio and Sheralin and David Farnham of Holderness, New Hampshire. She is also survived by four great granddaughters Ruby, Claire and Kaylee Farnham and Kendall Smith.
She was the sister of Arthur and William Grover and Charlotte Lundquist. She also survived by many nieces, nephews, devoted friends and neighbors.
Mrs. Farnham was predeceased by two sons, Thomas and Gregory Farnham and a brother Augustine Grover.
She will be missed by all who knew her.
Her services will be held Monday February 16th at 8 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rt. 58 at the rotary) Whitman. Burial will be at a late date. Visiting hours will be held prior to the service from 5-8 PM.
