Obituary

Josephine Dabrowski Turner, 95, of New Bedford passed away on Wednesday February 11, 2009. She was the wife of the late Jack Turner, Sr.
Born in Poland, the daughter of the late Victor and Bronislawa Dabrowski, she lived in New Bedford for many years.
Mrs. Turner was a dressmaker and teacher at New Bedford Vocational High School for over 30 years. She was an active member and officer of various Polish organizations and senior clubs. She enjoyed crafts, playing cards, and bingo.
She is survived by her brother, Alfred Dabrowksi and wife Viola; daughters, Kathleen Gendron and husband Ronald, and Betty McCoy and husband Robert; daughter-in-law, Maribeth Turner; six grandsons, Bruce, Ronald, Steven, Edwin, Robert, and David Gendron; three granddaughters, Sandra Moses, Sara and Molly Turner; 14 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
She was the mother of the late Jack Turner, Jr.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 12:30 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours will be on Friday from 10:30 AM - 12:30 PM, prior to the service. Burial in Acushnet Cemetery. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
