Obituary

WEBSTER – Paula M. (Olds) Ali, 45, passed away Tuesday, February 10, peacefully in her home surrounded by her family and close friends.

She leaves her husband of 25 years, Oxford Police Officer, Craig G. Ali; a son, Corey J. Ali; a daughter, Kristin M. Ali; her parents, Clifford J. and Teresa (Janiszewski) Olds; 2 brothers, David C. Olds and his companion Beauty and Matthew J. Olds, all of Webster; her in-laws, Skender and Doris (Ceppetelli) Ali of Webster; a brother-in-law, Ken Ali and his wife Donna of Williamstown NJ; a sister-in-law, Johnna Amico and her husband James of Dudley; a close friend, Michael Berthiaume of Webster; aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and her special Chihuahua friend Max.

She was born in Worcester and was a lifelong resident of Webster. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1981 where she was in the BHS Choir and a majorette in the school band. She then earned her Associates Degree in secretarial studies from Quinsigamond Community College.

Mrs. Ali was a patient care assistant at Worcester Memorial Hospital for 18 years. She was then a casualty adjuster at Commerce Insurance Co. for 11 years until her illness in 2008.

She was a member of Saint Louis Church. She enjoyed crafts and quilting, fishing and attending the Boston Red Sox games at Fenway Park.

The funeral will be held Saturday, February 14, from Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours are from 4:00 to 8:00 PM Friday, February 13, in the funeral home.
