Obituary

Manchester– Chester J. Kaminski Sr., 80, died February 10, 2009 at Elliot Hospital following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Manchester on August 2, 1928 the son of Walter and Anna (Bienkiewicz) Kaminski.
He attended Manchester Central High School. In 1946 at the age of 17 he enlisted in the U. S. Navy stationed aboard the U.S.S. Sicily. Later he enlisted in the U. S. Army Air Corps stationed in New Brunswick Maine. He also attended State Trade school and spent some time at New England College after receiving his GED.
He was a member of the TTK, Polish American Citizen Club and Henry J. Sweeney American Legion Post # 2.
He was predeceased by his wife Mathilda (Rybczyk) Kaminski on June 4, 2006.
Family members include one son Chester J. “Chip” Kaminski Jr. of Manchester, three daughters Karen Mercier of Manchester, Kathi Seaman of Allenstown, Carolyn Hebert of Manchester, two sisters, Joan Kaminski and Althea Lubelczyk both of Manchester.
In His Life: He leaves three grandchildren, Matthew Mercier, Brandon Mercier both of Manchester and Kristen Seaman of Allenstown.
Services: Calling hours will be on Sunday from 4 to 7 pm at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home 110 Bridge St. Manchester. Arrangements are under the direction of Woitkowski Funeral Home.
A High Requiem Mass will take place on Monday at 10 am in Holy Trinity Cathedral corner of Pearl and Union St. Burial will follow in Holy Trinity Cemetery.
