Carl Thomas Vicary, 55, of Awendaw, husband of Lynne Pejouhy Vicary, died Monday, February 9, 2009 at Cooper Hall “The Palms” in Mt. Pleasant.
Carl loved many outdoor sports and activities including sailing, golfing and swimming. He was a world traveler, a loving father, husband, family man and a dedicated friend to many worldwide.
Graveside service will be held on Friday, February 20, 2009 at 2 o’clock at Old Presbyterian Cemetery, Old Cemetery Road, McClellanville, SC. Burial will follow. Carl’s daughter Kim will be buried with him.

Carl was born August 15, 1953, in Mackay, Queensland, Australia, son of Mavis May Petersen Vicary and the late Edgar Thomas Benjamin Vicary.
He was educated in Queensland, Australia. He was an electrician, contractor and restaurateur. He was a board member of the Kim Vicary Foundation.

Mother: Mavis Vicary of Mackay, Queensland, Australia.
Sister: Karen Vicary of Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia.
He was pre-deceased by his beloved daughter Kim Vicary.
