Donald L. Ostrander, 72, of Lakeville died Sunday February 8, 2009 at Tobey Hospital after a brief illness. He was the husband of Linda L. (Borges) Ostrander.
Born in New Bedford, the son of the late Floyd L. and Myrtle F. (Card) Ostrander, he lived in Lakeville for many years.
He was a member of Christ Community Church in East Taunton.
Mr. Ostrander was the former owner of the Lord's Kitchen in Middleboro. He had also been employed as a mechanic supervisor for Cumberland Farms.
Survivors include his wife; three children, Donald Ostrander, Jr. and his wife Carla of Hendersonville, TN, Karen Butler and her husband Justin of Middleboro, and Virginia Quinones and her husband Samuel of East Bridgewater; two brothers, Arthur Ostrander of Florida and Robert Ostrander of Dartmouth; two sisters, June Crowley of Dartmouth and Beverly Souza of Bridgewater; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
