WILKERSON, GEORGE A., 78, of Louisville, passed away Saturday, February 7, 2009.
He retired from General Electric, was a member of St. Ignatius Catholic Church, and a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary Ann Wilkerson, and his brother, James Wilkerson.
Survivors include his sisters, Marie Heichelbech and Helen Cain; his brother, Fred Wilkerson; sisters-in-law, Helen Wilkerson, Joan Ennis (Dan) and Polly Murphy; brothers-in-law Mike Murphy (Diane) and James Curry; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with entombment at Resthaven Memorial Park.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts may be made to Hosparus.
