Mary Parrish Oliver Elliott, 95, of Orlando, Florida, died Monday, February 9, 2009 at Lake Bennett Health and Rehab in Ocoee, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 1 P.M., Wednesday, February 11, 2009 at the Paulk Funeral Home in Chapel in Ocilla. Interment will follow In Old Valley Grove Cemetery, Irwin County.
Mrs. Elliott was born June 30, 1913 in Tift County to the late Francis Marion and Rachael Willis Parrish. She moved to Minneola, Florida in 1953. Mrs. Elliott was former owner/operator of Freezette Restaurant in Clearmont, Florida. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her daughters and a son-in-law, Martiel O. Davis, Windermere, FL, Laverne & Jim Etheredge, Bushnell, FL, Barbara Gordon, New Smyrna, FL and Alicia Guidera of Lake Lure, NC; sons and daughters-in-law, James Marion & Brenda Oliver, Winter Garden, FL, Aubrey Oliver, Orlando, FL and Stan & Glenda Oliver, Groveland, FL; Step-son: Jerry Elliott of Columbus, GA; 13 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, James Warren Oliver and I.W. Elliott and 11 brothers and sisters.
