Alfredo C. Pacheco, age 93 of Fall River since 1968. Passed away in Fall River, February 8, 2009. Husband of Maria dos Reis (Raposo) Pacheco and the late Felicidade F. (Resendes) Pacheco. Born in Ribeira das Tainhas, Sao Miguel, Azores, son of the late Manuel da Costa Pacheco and Maria do Nascimento (Paiva) Pacheco. He was a member of St. Michael Church. Before retiring, he was an Inspector at F.B. Rogers Silver Co. in Taunton.
Besides his wife, he is survived by: 6 children: Manuel Pacheco of Somerset, Antonio & Eduardo Pacheco both of Fall River, Alfredo Pacheco of Dighton, Maria Gloria De Jesus of Pawtucket, RI and Fatima De Melo of Montreal, Canada; 2 sisters: Cristina Ribeiro of Sao Miguel and Deolinda Pereira of Montreal, Canada; 32 grandchildren, 47 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren & many nieces & nephews. He was father of the late Anna Fernandes. He also had 5 late brothers.
His funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on WEDNESDAY at 8:00 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Michael Church at 9:00 A.M. Interment in St. Patrick Cemetery. Calling hours TUESDAY 5-9 P.M.
