Obituary

Edward A. Angell, 58, of Pineledge Road, Harmony, died Saturday, February 7, 2009 at his home. He was the owner and Operator of Angell’s Collision. He was the husband of Janet (Knight) Angell.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Edward A. Angell and Janet (Perotta) Balcom. He had been a resident of Glocester for 45 years. He was Vice President of the Glocester Country Club and was a member of the Glocester Lions and Smithfield Elks.He was a member of the Smithfield Men's Sunday Night Hockey League and the Leftover's Hockey Team.
Besides his wife he is survived by his daughter, Heather L. Paulo and her husband, William, of Harmony, he was Bampie to Lauren. He also leaves a brother, Allen W. Angell of Foster. He was the son-in-law of Edwin J. Knight, Jr. of Harmony and nephew of Barbara DeCubellis of Cranston. He was the father of the late Edward A. Angell, III.
His funeral service will be held Thursday at 11am in the ANDERSON-WINFIELD Funeral Home, Route 44 at Greenville Common, Greenville. Burial will follow in Acote’s Hill Cemetery. Visitation Wednesday 4-8pm. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the Glocester Country Club, P.O. Box 547, Greenville, RI 02828.
