KORFHAGE, HARRY A. "BUD," 81, of Louisville, passed away Friday, February 6, 2009.
He was the retired owner of Central Florist, a past Alderman for the 7th Ward, a member of the Masonic Plumb Lodge #862, Scottish Rite, and Kosair Shrine, where he was the past director of the Director's Staff. He was also a member of the Lynnhurst United Church of Christ and an Army veteran of the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Violet Simpson and Louisa Korfhage; and his brothers, Albert, William, Paul and Quentin Korfhage.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Glenna Taylor Korfhage; his son, Mark S. Korfhage (Megan); grandchildren, Candace Taylor Korfhage and Mark Timothy Korfhage; brothers, Frank Korfhage and Jim Korfhage (Doris); and sisters, his twin, Harriet Korfhage and Lillian May McCrea (Woodrow).
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway, with burial in Bethany Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2-8 p.m. Monday and after 10 a.m. Tuesday.
