Mary P. (Rogers) O’Shaughnessy of Newton passed away on Sunday May 25th at her home surrounded by her family. Born in New Brunswick Canada, Mrs. O’Shaughnessy came to the United States in 1947. She was a veteran of the Canadian Air Force. Mrs. O’Shaughnessy worked as a Nurses Aide for many years at the Elliot Nursing Home formerly of Newton Upper Falls. The beloved wife of the late Thomas E. Sr. she leaves her children Harold Tsistinas of Halifax Nova Scotia, Thomas E. Jr. and Mary Blaisdell both of Newton Upper Falls, Patricia Harless of Holbrook and Michael P. O’Shaughnessy of Millis. Sister of Laura Blais and Mabel Clancy both of New Brunswick and the late Harold, Thomas and Arthur Rogers and Jean Kane. Also survived by 15 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Eaton Funeral Home 1351 Highland Avenue Needham on Friday May 30th at 9:00 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Mary Immaculate of Lourdes Church, Newton Upper Falls, at 10:00 AM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Visiting hours on Thursday from 4-8 PM.
