Anthony L. "Tony" Jordan, 56, of New Bedford died Wednesday February 4, 2009 after a long illness.
Born in Wareham, the son of the late Sherwood and Thelma (Williams) Jordan, he lived in New Bedford for most of his life.
Mr. Jordan was formerly employed as a house painter.
He loved cooking and fishing. He had been a volunteer for Summerfest and the Scallop Festival.
Survivors include a brother, Mitchell Jordan of Fairhaven; and a sister, Sheryl Jordan of New Bedford.
