Obituary

Francis J. “Frank” Johnson Jr. died Monday, surrounded by his family, at his Everett home, after a brief illness. He was 61.

Born and raised in Medford, Frank was a 1959 graduate of Medford High. He earned an Associate Degree from Boston University, in business. An Everett resident for the past 15 years, Frank had previously lived in Reading.

For the past 12 years, Frank worked as sales manager for Ultimate Windows in Everett.

Frank was an avid golfer. He spent time playing here and at his home in North Fort Meyers, Florida. Frank also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his grandchildren.

He was the beloved husband of Janis (Pike) Johnson. He was the father of Andrew and his wife Beth of Peabody, Amy of Danvers, David and his wife Diana of Reading, Karen E. Rose and Donna DeLucia of Brighton. He was the son of Maxwell and Mary Beal of Winchester. He was the brother of Marlyn Center of Saugus and Richard Beal of Hingham. He was grandfather of Hannah and Natalie. Frank was also a friend to many.

Friends may visit Wednesday from 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.

A funeral service will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday at 10 AM.

Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
