Obituary

Louise M. Axelson, 69, of Pearl St., Manchester, NH, died Sunday, May 25, 2003, at the Maple Leaf Health Care Center in Manchester. She was born in Edgartown, MA on May 11, 1934, a daughter of Louise (Frost) Silva and the late Joseph Silva. She was a resident of Manchester for the past year and a half, formerly living in Hudson, NH. She was a graduate of Edgartown High School and had attended Rivier College in Nashua, NH. She had worked for the NH State Senate as a paralegal. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Louise was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Londonderry. She enjoyed reading, studying law and knitting.

In addition to her mother of Tewksbury, MA, she is also survived by three daughters, Alicia Axelson of Knoxville, TN, Melanie Gannon of Hudson, Valerie Mailhot of Manchester, two sons, Keith Axelson of Anchorage, AK, Dwayne Axelson of Ewa Beach, HI, five grandchildren, Michelle Axelson, Holly Axelson, Kyle Axelson, André Mailhot, Joshua Mailhot, one sister, Sheila Silva of Tewksbury, MA, four brothers, James Silva of Greenville, SC, Donald Silva of Jaffrey, NH, Jack Silva of Ft. Myers, FL, Richard Silva of Foxboro, MA, many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by one brother, William Silva.

There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held on Friday, May 30th at 1:00 at the Victory Baptist Church, 42 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry, with burial following.
