Obituary

Mr. Lorenzo Venezia, age 80 of Medford formerly of Boston's North End, Passed away January 31st at his following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Ann M. (DiFronzo). Born in Boston he was the son of the late Lena (Vitale) and Vincenzo Venezia.

Mr. Venezia was a Medford resident for 47 years. He was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War serving from 1951 to 1953. Mr. Venezia worked for many years as a sales manager in the electrical wholesale industry. Mostly devoted to his loving family, he enjoyed and cherished spending time with them and especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his beloved wife Ann, he is survived by his devoted daughter, Lori Ann Venezia - Aliberti of Medford. He is also survived by his loving grandchildren Robert, Michael and Maria Aliberti. He is further survived by his brother, William Venezia of Boston and is predeceased by his sisters, Anna Tarantino and Carol Sciucco, brothers, Salvatore, Arthur and Anthony Venezia.

A funeral mass for Lorenzo will be celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St. Medford, Thursday, February 5th; at 10:15 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. It has been requested that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, Inc., 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02215
