Methuen, MA- Cynthia A. (Hardy) Anderton, 44, the song has ended but the melody lingers on. Cindy passed on Friday January 30, 2009, at the Anna Jacques hospital, surrounded by her loving family.
Cindy is survived by her father and mother, Roger and Barbara Hardy, a son, David Hardy, Uncle Richard (Red) McLean, Brother’s Roger Jr. and his wife Cara Hardy, Arthur and his wife Jennifer Hardy, nieces and nephews; Alicia, Erika, Benjamin, Alexis and Evan Hardy, as well as a grand-daughter Reanne, all of Methuen. She also leaves a foster brother, Dean Valoras and family.
The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to the Simmons Health Program group home in Newburyport for all the love and care they have given to Cindy. They will always be special people to the family for all that they have done. They would also like to send a special thanks to the Anna Jacques CCU unit on the 2nd floor and the Merrimack Valley hospice for caring for Cindy during her final days.
ARRANGEMENTS: Family and Friends may pay their respects on Thursday morning, Feburary 5th, from 8:30 to 10:30 AM with a funeral mass to follow at St. Monica’s Church in Methuen at 11 o’clock. Burial will take place at a later date at the immaculate Conception cemetery in Lawrence.
