Stephanie Diane Whittington, 57, of Summerville, wife of Louis Allen Whittington died at Hospice Center of Charleston, Friday, January 30, 2009.
Memorial service will be held Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 1 o’clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home Chapel, Summerville. Visitation will be held from 11 o’clock until the hour of service. Burial will be private.

Stephanie was born April 30, 1951, in Huntington, West Virginia. She was the daughter of Oralee Barefoot of Lutherville, MD and the late Wandalene Casey Barefoot. She graduated from Dulaney High School in Timonium, MD. She loved volunteering and helping the elderly, She was a sales representative for Kraft Nabisco Company. She was of the Baptist faith.

1 Sister: Laura Roche and her husband Thomas of Townsend, MD
2 Nephews: Tommy Lee and Austin Roche
1 Niece: Stephanie Roche
