Obituary

WORCESTER
Evelyn May (Trudell) Fitzpatrick, 99, formerly of 310 Mill Street, passed away on Friday, January 30th at Knollwood Nursing Center. Her husband, Robert J. Fitzpatrick, died in 1974.

She leaves two sons, David P. Fitzpatrick and his wife, Linda, of Sterling and Roy J. Fitzpatrick of West Boylston; her sister, Winifred A. Ball of Worcester; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Evelyn was born in Worcester, daughter of Peter H. and Marie (St. Thomas) Trudell. She graduated from South High School and the former Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing and was a member of the Alumni Association. She was a charter member of St. Charles Borromeo parish. Evelyn and her husband volunteered for many years with the Boy Scouts of America and in 1971 Evelyn received the Silver Fawn Award. Evelyn was a volunteer at the former Age Center of Worcester and a member of the Trinity Symphonette orchestra.

Her funeral Mass will be held Mon., Feb. 2 from CALLAHAN & FAY BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 61 Myrtle St. with a Mass at 11 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church, 341 June St.. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. A Visiting Hour will be held Mon., Feb. 2, from 9:30 to 10:30 AM.
