GLOUCESTER: Joan (Warren) Joseph, 82, of 10 Poplar Park died Tuesday evening, January 27, 2009 in the Seacoast Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Herbert J. Joseph, who died in June of 2004.
Born in Orange, New Jersey on December 23, 1926, she was the daughter of the late George G. and Helen A. (Weston) Warren. She had resided in Essex and then Gloucester since childhood.
Mrs. Joseph was employed as a fish packer for many years along the Gloucester waterfront.
She is survived by many friends including, Harold and Marilyn Goodwin of Rochester, NH and their family. She was also predeceased by her son, Everett Joseph.
Prayers of committal will be held privately in the Spring Street Cemetery, Essex in the spring.
