Obituary

Wayne Ferdyn, 59, of Manchester, NH died January 28, 2009

He was born in Pittsfield, MA. September 17, 1949 and was the son of Zigmund and Janice (Philbrick) Ferdyn.


He graduated from Wahconah High School in Dalton MA. and attended Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield Ma. He served 10 years in the Army National Guard.


Wayne was a dedicated and spirited salesman, most recently serving 11 years with Niigata Daiichi. He enjoyed playing golf, fly-fishing, talking shop, and spending time with his family. He was especially proud of his children, and of the time he invested coaching Pop Warner and high school football in Manchester.

In His Life:

Family Members include, his sons, Toby Ferdyn of Essex, VT. And Kyle Ferdyn of Hampton, NH; a sister, Pam (Ferdyn) Turner of Dalton MA; a brother Gary Ferdyn of FL; Two Grandchildren, Trey and Kira Ferdyn; and many nieces and nephews that he thought of and cared for like his own children.

He will be remembered as a kind and generous person, who always put others before himself.


Calling hours and services took place at Lambert Funeral Home & Crematory 1799 Elm St. corner of North Street on Saturday, January 31, 2009.
