Phillip A. Thorp, 54, of Pelham, NH passed on Wednesday Jan. 28th at Holy Family Hospital, Methuen, MA after a courageous battle with cancer.
Phil was the son of the late Malcolm and Rose Thorp. He grew up and was educated in Salem, NH graduating from Salem High School. He later graduated from Southern New Hampshire University. Phil was a resident of Pelham for 30 years.
Phil was an entrepreneur and owned and operated The General Rental Station in Salem, NH for many years. He also owned and operated Salem Rubbish Removal for 20 years. Most recently, he was employed at the Pelham Post Office as a local carrier.
Phil was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed the Boston Red Sox. He was a beloved son, husband, father, brother and friend and those who knew him will miss his sense of humor and will remember him as a kind and caring person.
