Rita M.(Greco) King, 92 years old, died on Jan. 28, 2009 at Marian Manor, after a period of failing health.
She was the wife of the late Manuel King and is survived by her son, Michael King of Taunton.
Born in Raynham, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Lucy (Silvia) Greco.
She attended Raynham schools and was a communicant of St. Anthony Church.
In her younger years, she was very active in her parish.
She helped with all church activities and was a recipient of the Marian Medal.
She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends.
Rita was always willing to help those in need. She was a very generous and caring person and will be missed by all.
She was the sister of the late Lena Fantacone, Carrie O’Connor, Charles Greco, Flora Gee, Mary Hurst, Frederick Greco, Lillian Pontes, Nellie Accarido and Joseph Greco.
She was also the aunt and great-aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, on Saturday, Jan. 31st at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Anthony Church at 10 a.m.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Calling Hours will be on Friday, Jan. 30th, from 4 to 7 p.m.
She will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
