Ted Teal, 70, of Fitzgerald, died Monday, January 26, 2009 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon.
The Family will receive friends from 6 P.M., until 8 P.M., Friday, January 30, at Paulk Funeral Home in Fitzgerald.
Mr. Teal was born December 13, 1938 in Thomas County, to the late Charlie and Sally Gunn Teal. He moved to the community in 1993 from Alma and was a former resident of Cordele and Cross City, Florida. Mr. Teal was a former sewing machine mechanic and most recently was Maintenance Manager for Walmart in Fitzgerald. He was a veteran of the United States Army and was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by wife: Barbara A. Teal of Fitzgerald; Daughters: Cecilia Russo of Tifton and Dianne Morgan of Fitzgerald; Sons: Scott (Meghan) Teal and Zane Teal, all of Fitzgerald; Brother: Max Teal of Columbus and 10 grandchildren. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, 1 sister and 1 brother.
