Mary A. (Binney) Ferbert of Bridgewater died peacefully on Thurs. Jan. 22 in Stoughton. She was age 84. Mary was born in Hingham and attended Hingham schools. After high school she worked for A&P before marrying her childhood friend George E. Ferbert. They were happily married for 48 years. Mary enjoyed being with her family, working in her gardens and traveling the United States. She worked at Component Mfg. Service in W. Bridgewater for over 20 years and Mueller Corp. in E. Bridgewater for over 10 years. Mary was the beloved wife of the late George E. Ferbert. Loving mother of Georgia A. Hamlen and her husband Jerry of Bridgewater and Thomas E. Ferbert and his wife Susan Potwin of Bridgewater. Proud grandmother of 6 grandchildren and the late Danielle Thomas and great grandmother of 14. Sister of Bessie Perry of Hingham and the late Joseph, Adeline, John “Jack”, Dorothy Gagano and Bertha Gonyon. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church, 20 Summer St., Bridgewater, followed by interment at Pine Hill Cemetery.
