Ralph J. Foscaldi of Bridgewater and formerly of Brockton died peacefully on January 25 at Brockton Hospital. He was age 93 . Ralph was born in Brockton and attended Brockton schools. Ralph joined the Airforce and was a veteran of WWII and Korea. While in the service he was a mechanical illustrator and draftsman. Following the war he worked for Jordan Marsh as a glass engraver. Later he worked for F.B. Washburn Candy Co. as a supervisor. Ralph was an avid artist. He attended the New England School of Art and had a passion for drawing and painting. Ralph liked to golf and in later years enjoyed working around the yard tending to the birds, and enjoying the company of his grandchildren. He also liked to go to the casino. Ralph was the loving husband of 57 years to Olga (Alberghini) Foscaldi of Bridgewater. Loving father of Robert M and his wife Mary Frances (Monsini) Foscaldi of Bridgewater. Proud grandfather of Juliana M, Vincent J., and Mason R. all of Bridgewater. Brother of the late Salvador, Frank, Jim, John, and Mary Dahl. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral from the Prophett-Chapman, Cole & Gleason Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St., Bridgewater on Wed. Jan. 28 at 8:00am. A funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9:00am. Interment St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Visiting hours Tues. from 5 to 7pm.
