Manh Thongphala, 72, of Ruby St., Woonsocket died Friday at Landmark Medical Center. She was the wife of the late Sy Thongphala.
Born in Laos, she was a daughter of the late Khamchan and Kong Thavone. Mrs. Thongphala resided in Woonsocket for the past 25 years since coming from Laos. She was a homemaker and was devoted to her family.
She is survived by her children, Chanthamouth, Khonsavanh, and Bouangeun “Noc” Thongphala, Manivanh Sarivong, Khanthong Thounsavat, and Khankeo Amphonephong, many grandchildren, and a brother and sister.
Her funeral will be Saturday at 8:00 am in the Menard Funeral Home, 127 Carrington Ave., Woonsocket. Funeral procession will leave for Swan Point Cemetery following services. Visiting hours are Friday from 5-7 pm. Please find guestbook and directions at www.menardfuneralhome.com.
