KENNEDY JR., JAMES DAVID, 57, passed away January 17, 2009, at the University of Kentucky Medical Center.
He was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church and a Vietnam War veteran who served in both the Marines and Army. He was a truck driver for White Cap Construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary Francis (Grass) and James David Kennedy Sr. He is survived by his wife, Cathleen (Maconeghy) Kennedy; children, James Carl Kennedy (Michelle) and Debra Jo Burdick (James); and granddaughter, Isabella Burdick.
His service will be 11 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 515 E. Broadway in Brandenburg, KY, with burial in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central.
Visitation will be noon-9 p.m. Sunday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway.
