HUDSON, NH - Agnes E. "Diddo" Julien, 87, a resident of Hudson, NH, and former longtime Dracut resident, died Sunday, January 25th at Wingate at Andover, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Paul E. Julien Sr. who died in 1992.
She was born in Lowell on June 18, 1921, and was a daughter of the late Harry and Josephine (Gauthier) Dufresne. She received her education in Lowell schools.
Mrs. Julien spent her life tending to the needs of her home and family, and in her free time she enjoyed bingo and going shopping.
She was a communicant of St. Therese Church in Dracut.
She is survived by two sons, Paul E. Julien Jr. and his wife Joanne of Mesa, AZ, and Kenneth Julien and his wife Lisa of Hudson, NH; a daughter Laurie Sutton and her husband John of Hudson, NH; five grandchildren, Douglas Julien and his wife Miyoung of York, ME, Sarah Ungaro and her husband Wade of Mesa, AZ, April Julien of Hudson, NH, DeAnna Sutton of Valencia, CA, and Timothy Sutton of Hudson, NH; four great grandchildren, Annika Julien, and Sedona, Jolynne, and Verity Ungaro; a brother, Arthur Dufresne of Chelmsford; a sister, Doris Nobrega and her husband Arthur of Derry, NH; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also the grandmother of the late Melissa Julien, and the sister of the late Henry Dufresne, and Laura Dufresne.
Friends may call at the DRACUT FUNERAL HOME, 2159 Lakeview Avenue, DRACUT, on Friday from 4 until 8 PM. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday at 9 AM at Ste Marguerite Parish at St. Therese Church in Dracut. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. For online condolences please use the icon below.
