TEWKSBURY- Urena A. (Moakley) Kleynen, age 77, died Sunday, January 25, 2009 at Wilmington Healthcare in Wilmington, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Ervin P. Kleynan who died in 1980. She was born December 22, 1931, a daughter of the late Robert and Mary Elizabeth (Peake) Moakley, and was raised in Lexington. She lived several years in East Alstead, NH before moving to Billerica, Wilminton and then Tewksbury.
Urena retired from housekeeping at the Tewksbury Hospital in 1993. She was a member of St. William's Sodality and a communicant of St. William's Church.
She is survived by her son, Paul Ervin Kleynen of California; her sisters, Miriam McGinley of Tewksbury, Mary L. Morgan of Oklahoma; a sister-in-law, Patricia Moakley of Somerville; her brothers, Robert J. Moakley of NH, William E. Moakley of Wilmington, James Moakley of FL, Frederick Moakley of Salisbury, many nieces, nephews, and grandnephews.
She was also sister of the late Patrick Moakley, Margaret Mogardo, Joseph Moakley, and Julia Moakley.
Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Thursday, Jan. 29, in St. William's Church, Tewksbury. Burial followed at St. Mary's Cemetery, River Road Tewksbury. Memorials to Tewksbury Food Pantry, 999 Whipple Road, Tewksbury, MA 01876, will be appreciated.
