Ethel McDonough, 95 of Woburn, died Tuesday at Sunbridge Care & Rehabilitation for N. Reading. Born in Woburn, she was the daughter of the late John and the late Katherine (Boudreau) Cahill.
Mrs. McDonough was a lifelong resident of Woburn. She attended St. Charles School. She celebrated daily mass at St. Charles Church for many years and belonged to the Ladies Sodality. She was the wife of the late E. Harold McDonough Sr.
She is survived by her son, E. Harold McDonough Jr. and his wife Dale (Eramo) of Seabrook, NH, two grandsons, E. Harold ‘’Harry’’ McDonough III of Woburn and Geoffrey McDonough of Lowell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Jack, George, Gerard, Edward, Louis, Henry, and Gladys Cahill, Ruth Niece, Mary Carlson, Martha Savlen, and Rose Sullivan.
Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home, 60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday at 9AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated at St. Charles Church, 280 Main St., Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8PM. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
