Howard Evans, 67, of James Street Extension, Derry, NH died Wednesday January 2, 2002 at his home. He was born in Lowell, MA on February 7, 1934, a son of the late Howard and Bessie (Pearson)Evans. He was a resident of Derry for five years, formerly living in Groton, NH. He was a US Army veteran. He was employed as a delivery driver for Roadmaster Automotive in Derry. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Snow) Evans, of Derry, two daughters, Holly Evans, Heidi Evans, both of Nashua, three sons, Stephen Davis, of Auburn, Daniel Cournoyer, of Manchester, Mark Cournoyer, of Puerto Rico, two step-daughters, Cheryl Faro, of Manchester, Patricia Flibotte, of Derry, nine grandchildren, one sister, Betty Giouard, of Nashua, several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be on Saturday January 5, 2002 from 5-8PM at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. Cremation will follow at the Southern NH Crematory, Derry. Memorial contributions may be made to the Department of Veterans Affairs, 215 North Main Street, White River Junction, VT 05009-0001 (make checks payable to Dept. of Veterans Affairs).
