Mr. David R. Jimenez, 56, of Lawrence, Massachusetts passed away on Saturday, January 24th, 2009 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
He was born in Guayama, Puerto Rico, son of Pedro Rivera and Francisca Jimenez. Mr. Jimenez was educated in the Lawrence Schools and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He was an attendant of the Spanish Assembly of God Church in Lawrence, MA. and worked for the United States Post Office in North Andover, MA.
David was one of the Organizers of the Spanish Festival in Lawrence, Massachusetts, he was a baseball player for the Carribbean Star also in Lawrence, MA., and was an Avid Yankee's Fan.

His funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, January 28th, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. in the Spanish Assembly of God Church, 14 Vine Street in Lawrence, MA.
Burial will follow in the Veteran's Lot at the Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Lawrence, MA.
